Women's political and societal participation in Kuwaiti society. Between history, reality and hopes.

Abstract

Women are one of the most important pillars of civilized societies, and the vitality and progress of a society cannot be measured except by measuring the role of women in it. Kuwaiti women gained their rights to education early and participated in the movement of thought, culture, political and parliamentary action, and they also participated in the most, it supported 1990 tragic event, which is the Iraqi invasion. To Kuwait in and participated in the resistance, offering its soul and the souls of its people to protect the homeland.
The study addressed this topic through some axes: Kuwaiti women and education, Kuwaiti women and the struggle against the Iraqi invasion, the rulers of Kuwait and the approval of a special legislative status for women between the constitution, the law and princely decrees, Kuwaiti women and parliamentary representation, Kuwaiti women and public executive jobs, Kuwaiti women and service jobs. Kuwaiti women among regional and international actors, Kuwaiti women and the future vision by monitoring reality to what is hoped for and researching promising opportunities for further empowerment of Kuwaiti women through the Kuwait vision.
