About Journal

The International Journal of Childhood and Women’s Studies (IJCWS) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published quarterly by the Faculty of Women, Ain Shams University. The journal is published in both print and online versions and it guarantees a fair and accurate reviewing process. Submissions are accepted throughout the year. We accept only original research papers of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of our journal.

Open Access Policy

IJCWS is an Open Access Journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. 

This Journal is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License.

Therefore:

  • Any article published in IJCWS can be freely used and shared (free access to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format), as long as it is attributed to the author(s) and the journal by citing the name of the author(s) and the name of the journal [Attribution – BY].
  • The authors of the articles and the journal itself allow all types of non-commercial use of the papers and, on the contrary, restrict their use for commercial purposes [Non-commercial use – NC].
  • Users can use, reuse and build upon the material published in the journal but only for non-commercial purposes.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright of their published papers and grant to the publisher the right to publish the article, to be cited as its original publisher in case of reuse, and to distribute it in all forms and media.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors can deposit Publisher’s PDF in an institutional repository and non-commercial subject-based repositories. Authors can publish it on Author's personal website (including social networking sites, such as ResearchGate, Academia.edu, etc.) and/or departmental website, at any time after publication. Full bibliographic information (author, article title, journal title, volume, issue and pagination) about the original publication must be provided and a link must be made to the article's DOI.
