Effectiveness of a Program Based on Active Learning in the Development of Some Concepts of Natural Phenomena in Kindergarten Child in Jordan

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on active learning in developing some concepts of natural phenomena for kindergarten children in Jordan. , the number of children of the experimental (27) and the control (27) boys and girls; The research tools consisted of a list of some concepts of natural phenomena for the kindergarten child (prepared by the researcher), a program based on active learning in developing some concepts of natural phenomena (prepared by the researcher), and a scale of natural phenomena illustrated for the kindergarten child (prepared by the researcher). Family Social and Economic Level Scale Form (prepared by /Abdul Aziz Al-Shakh) Judd's Man Drawing Test - Harris's Nose; The results of the research resulted in the presence of statistically significant differences in the average scores of the concepts of natural phenomena in favor of the experimental group, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of male and female children for the post-measurement, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the average scores of the post and follow-up scores of the experimental group; The research-er concluded that the program based on active learning was effective in developing the concepts of natural phenomena among kindergarten children, and recommended its use in kindergarten.
